STEFANSKI, SEEFELDT, STEFANSKI, LITTLEFIELD. TARNOWSKI, GREGORIC, AND MAJOULIS NOTCH FEATURE WINS ON FINAL GOKART NIGHT;

ANSTETT, FARNHAM, SCHULTZ, KNOLL, AND TARNOWSKI CLAIM 2011 CHAMPIONSHIPS

 

Ransomville, NY - Thursday, September 1st, 2011 - A grand total of 76 gokarts signed in pitside last Thursday night for the final points event of the 2011 season.  Another banner crowd was on hand to witness the 2011 Champions being crowned.

 

     In Novice action - the wins went to Blake Majoulis and Ryan Gregoric.  Majoulis took the lead at the drop of the green aboard the first ten lap main and held it the entire distance. Noah Coppins, Rachel Illig, and Alexis Bolam rounded out the field.

   The second Novice ten lap main was won by Ryan Gregoric.  What makes this unique is it was Ryan's first time on the Little R!  Gregoric led all ten circuits to the checkered followed by Joey Fay and Chase Richner.

 

     Nicholas Tarnowski did what he had to do to hold onto the points lead and the title by claiming the victor in the fifteen lap Tim Phillips Garage Junior I main.  Tarnowski took the lead away from Cameron Tuttle on lap one and held off persistent challenges by Kyle Phillips during the midway point of the event.  Tarnowski's win earned him the 2011 crown.  Tuttle advanced to second on the final lap followed by Phillips, Gene Gregoric, Rylee Block, Dylan Duhow, Michael Carmer, Kevin Fuller, Cole Susice, Shelby Smith, Jordan Modan, Stephen Imerese, Kevin Marsh, and Kierstan Farina.

 

     David Littlefield took top honors for the third time in 2011 aboard the Auto Rescue Team Junior II class.  Littlefield took the win after leading all fifteen laps. 

 

Katy Knoll came home in second and was crowned the 2011 champion.  Steve Lewis, Marc Eberz, Chase Collins, Andrew Srock, Donnie Haag, Eric Veihdeffer, Jessica Chapman, and Adam Wagner rounded out the field.  Selena Smith suffered mechanial woes during qualifying action and was unable to make the feature start

 

     Cam Strefanki notched the win aboard the Junior Restricted fifteen lap main.  Taking the lead away from Matt Veihdeffer on lap four, Stefanski would remain in the point positin the remaining distance.  Veihdeffer came home in second followed by Trent Curtis and Nicholas Schultz.  Schult's fourth place finish earned him the 2011 Championship.  Alyssa Mullen, John Conklin, Megan Cleveley, RJ Littlefield, Brian Monahan, Cody Kott, Jake Swanson, Austin Susice, and Noah Walker rounded out the field.

 

     Mike Seefeldt took top honors aboard the Stock Medium fifteen lap main event. Seefeldt took the lead away from Steve Sweet on lap seven and held it the remaining laps.  Matt Farnham advanced to second and claimed the 2011 Championship crown. Jonathon Reid made rare appearance and finished in third followed by Sweet, Brett Senek, Ben Wirth, Curt Sherwood, Tim Kott, Cole Daubney, Braden Foley, Brandon Sherwood, and Tim Swatsworth.

 

     Jake Stefanski proved he can win on the big track and the little track as he collected the win in the twenty lap Clone main.  Stefanski battled with Dan Heschke through out the main swapping the lead breifly around the mid-way point.  Stefanksi would lead Heschke to the checkered followed by Jeff Anstett in third. 

Anstett's third place finish earned him the 2011 Championship despite three broken ribs.  Taylor Sears, Bobby Mesler, Matthew Farnham, Michael Mesler, David Littlefield Kevin House, Mike Journeaux, John Bonesky, Casey Smalley, Bailey Hudson, Colin Spatorico, Kevin House Sr., and Joe Blake.
