PATRIOT SPRINTS SET TO RETURN TO THE BIG R IN 2019
RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (January 21, 2019) - Ransomville Speedway will welcome the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour back to the facility in 2019. The fan favorite yearly visit by the Patriot Sprints will take place on Friday, May 31 in an event presented by A-Verdi Storage Containers, Just Signs & Designs and All Metal Works.
“We are thrilled to be working with Mike Emhof Motorsports and the Patriot Sprints again in 2019,” said Jenn Martin, Ransomville Speedway General Manager. “Sprint car fans are some of the most loyal in racing, and they come out in force for this event along with our regular contingent of weekly Ransomville fans, which makes for a great night of racing.”
Last season, “The Cobra” Chuck Hebing of Ontario, N.Y. won the Patriot Sprints event at Ransomville. It was one of six wins he captured in 2018 while en route to winning the Patriot Sprint Tour championship. Hebing has been the dominant Patriot driver at the Big R, winning seven of the 20 Patriot A-Mains run since 2003.
The Patriot Sprints will be part of the five division racing program on May 31 along with the Investors Service Sportsman, Ki-Po Chevrolet Street Stocks, Gippster’s Collision Mini Stocks and Stevenson’s Hardware Novice Sportsman. The Krown Undercoating 358 Modifieds will have the evening off.
