SUNFLOWERS OF SANBORN & SJE SHOCK SERVICES SIGN ON AS DIVISION SPONSORS
RANSOMVILLE, N.Y. (December 19, 2019) - Ransomville Speedway is proud to welcome two new division sponsors for the 2020 racing season. Sunflowers of Sanborn has signed on as the new title sponsor for the Mini Stock division that competes on Friday nights, and SJE Shock Services has come aboard as the new sponsor for the Junior 2 Go-Kart division that competes on Thursdays.
Both marketing partners are owned and operated by current racers that have been part of the Ransomville racing community for a number of years.
“We’re cannot thank Chad and Scott enough for coming aboard quickly to fill these openings we had for next season,” said Jenn Martin, general manager. “Both have been great assets to Ransomville as competitors, and we look forward to working with them this season as supporters of our racing program.”
Last season, Cole Susice claimed the Sunflowers of Sanborn Mini Stock track championship thanks to his four feature wins. Brayden Bills won the SJE Shock Services Junior 2 championship as part of the Thursday Go-Kart program.
Sunflowers of Sanborn, located at the intersection of Saunders Settlement and Baer Roads in Sanborn, is owned and operated by five-time track champion Chad Brachmann and his wife Louise. Their field of sunflowers became an overnight viral sensation in 2017, and it has gotten even bigger with added attractions, vendors and events.
The attraction became a part of Brachmann’s racing operation in 2018 as the Sunflowers of Sanborn logo was featured prominently on his 358 and Big Block Modifieds. He finished fourth in Krown Undercoating 358 Modified points last season with two feature wins. Brachmann, a racing veteran of over 20 years, will once again make the “Big R” his Friday night home in 2020.
